How your data is handled

No legal entity registered yet. Bitratecheck is a product of Agen2ic, LLC (a Colorado limited liability company). No separate legal entity has been registered for this product. Until one is established, this policy is a statement of intent rather than a binding contract with a named organisation. The operator must supply a governing entity, address and jurisdiction before these statements bind anyone.

What data this product collects

Account email. When you sign in through the shared authentication host, we receive the email address associated with your account. This is used solely to identify you and is stored in the product database (Cloudflare D1).
Check inputs and results. Every time you run a check, your upload speed, bitrate, resolution, framerate, codec, the computed verdict, headroom percentage, and timestamp are stored in the product database. These records are tied to your account and visible only to you.
Session token. A session cookie is set in your browser while you are signed in. This is stored as a SHA-256 hash in the database; the plain token exists only in your browser.

What data this product does NOT collect

No IP addresses are logged server-side.
No browser fingerprints, user-agent strings, or referrer headers are recorded.
No analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies are used.
No payment information — this product is free and not sold.
No chat logs, messages, or communications of any kind.

Where data is stored

All data resides in Cloudflare D1 (SQLite-compatible database) within Cloudflare's global network. Cloudflare acts as our data processor. No data is transferred to any other provider.

Data retention

Check records are retained indefinitely while your account exists. If you wish to have your data deleted, contact the operator. Session tokens expire after 30 days of inactivity.

Third-party access

This product does not share your data with any third party. The authentication host (auth.agen2ic.ai) verifies your identity but does not receive your check data. No API integrations, no data sales, no marketing use.
