Using Bitratecheck

No separate legal entity, governing law, or jurisdiction has been established for this product. The operator must supply a governing entity name, address and jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone.

What this is

Bitratecheck is a free, non-commercial diagnostic tool. It computes whether your upload speed can sustain your live stream bitrate. It is provided as-is, without any warranty, express or implied.

What this is NOT

Not a monitoring service — it does not watch your stream in real time.
Not a CDN switching platform — it does not route or optimise traffic.
Not a replacement for enterprise streaming infrastructure.
Not a seller of anything — the product is free and not for sale.

Accounts

You need a sign-in to save your check history. The account is tied to your email address through the shared authentication host (auth.agen2ic.ai). This product stores only the email address and your check records. There is no team feature, no sharing, and no invitation system — the product is built for one person working alone.

Acceptable use

You may use Bitratecheck for any lawful purpose, commercial or personal, as long as you are a single person using the tool.
You may not automate checks in a way that constitutes abuse of the API (sustained high-frequency requests, scraping, denial of service).
You may not use the tool to probe or monitor third-party infrastructure without their consent.

Limitation of liability

This tool provides an estimate based on a formula. It does not guarantee that your stream will hold or break. Actual streaming conditions depend on network stability, encoder performance, platform behaviour, and other factors this tool does not measure. You use the verdict at your own discretion.

In no event shall the operator be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this tool, including but not limited to lost revenue from a failed stream, dropped viewers, or degraded stream quality.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is stored as described in the Privacy Policy. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact the operator. Session tokens expire after 30 days.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
